Have had Mexican food all over the USA. Chico's is absolutely one of the best. If you are in the area, this is a "dont miss".

Chico's from the outside looks somewhat like a small hole in the wall, however,It is the VERY BEST TEX-MEX FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN IN NORTH EAST FLORIDA!Everything IS home made, and the flavors mingle beautifully on the palate....Diego(the owner) won't let anyone else do the cooking.. I'm supposing because the taste and style never changesYOU ALWAYS KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT!! GO THERE, PIG-OUT AND ENJOY!!

They claim to be open until 9pm, but you’d better call ahead before you drive 30 minutes to get there as I just did. I got there at 7:45 pm, the door was unlocked, but they told me they were closed. Apparently, this is what they do if they don’t have enough customers. If that’s the case, then set your hours accordingly because you just lost a customer tonight along with many others if this continues.

I have been so sad that our family used to love this restaurant. It is dirty and now I just can't seem to allow myself to order food from such a warn down kitchen area and the lack of communication with the people who We've been told are actually the owners. I have been trying to hang in there as the construction of the road in front of the restaurant has impeded the entire restaurant access. I will try it again and see if I can find a way to make it work for us to come back and enjoy our"go -to" restaurant. We loved their salsa and chips and miss them.

Any time were in Florida we make a special trip to enjoy the lunch taco bar. I'm having a hard time typing this review due to my mouth watering. It truly is a great place to eat, I especially like their salsa.

I had the nachos supreme and my woman had the chicken burrito. The portion was perfect and the taste was awesome. The wait for our food was relatively quick. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back.

Best Mexican food in Putnam County! The staff is great and always remember my order. The remodel has spruced up the atmosphere. They had one bad waitress, and she is no longer there. The cook knows me, and has my food ready just minutes after I walk in. Winners of the Palatka Daily News Readers choice from 2010-2019.

Excellent Mexican restaurant. Some of the best I've ever had. They have interesting and unique food and it's not just the standard Mexican food you find in Florida. They have a chorizo and queso fundito that is balanced in spice and richness. I go there every chance I get.

Everything great. Love the consistency of food. Never had a bad meal. Place to go when in the mood for tex-mex.

Prices are high. Food seems to have changed from what it used to be. For years this was my favorite place. Inside looks good from the remodel, just need to step back up to the quality of food they were known for.

They are always very helpful and courteous. Love their food. It is spicy but not to the point of being to hot.

Waitress was nice and food was eh. Salsa tasted like ketchup and black pepper, tacos are like Taco Bell (not real mexican tacos), guacamole was not guac it’s suppose to have avocado tomatoes onion lime juice salt it was literally blended avocado and I’m guessing sour cream with shredded cheese lol, rice and beans needed salt, jalapeño pepper was just canned sliced jalapeños and come on take it easy with the black pepper there was so much and on everything! Tried this place because of the great reviews and was so disappointed.

Great taco salad and they don't have you waiting forever when you call in!!! Also the quesodillas are awesome, the shredded chicken is personally the best in my opinion.
